 I’m a hard working travel professional, who after 12 years in the industry decided to step off the corporate ladder and just focus on doing what I love the most – planning and booking holidays and looking after customers. I’m happily married with no kids and look forward to sharing lots of travelling with my husband in the years to come.

 3.  Describe your business ...

 I’m a mobile domestic and international travel consultant.  Based in Thornlands, I visit my clients in their homes at a time that suits them including after hours and weekends.  It’s a very personal, uninterrupted service at no extra cost.  Being part of the global Travel Counsellors network ensures I’ve got access to reputable and competitive suppliers and over 900 other Travel Counsellors for worldwide support and advice. 

 4.  What attracted you to this business or what do you love about your business  ...

 Having worked in travel agency management roles during the last 5 years, I found myself  a counsellor of staff and doing admin more than doing what I love – which is planning and selling travel.  Staff were never as motivated or as passionate about the job – so I decided there had to be a better way.  I found Travel Counsellors and they support me to run my own licensed home based travel consultancy business the way I want to and it allows me to look after clients to the standard I want to.

 5.  What is your favourite saying, quote or piece of advice  ...

 You have the duty and the gift of living.  You don’t have the right to sit on the sidelines – use your life and get back into the game.  (Dr Phil!)
